Not For Sale ProFlex 353 Frameset...

Ooooooooh If I didnae have my 555 and the two other 85x's in nearly and semi equipped state, I'd have this off ye like a shot...........give ye a sob story of how my original 550 which I saved all my pennies for and was my first proper Big Baws bike got feeved from a locked room in my own house!!!! :x :x :x

But naw, I dinnae really need it- let it go to a desrving home who will put a propper flexstem (they were still doing flexstems in 1993??) and stuff on it.

Can we adopt it like ye can do heffalumps and pandas?? Get a Christmas card from it an' awthing???

Hey

I WON.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to thank MrKawasaki firstly for being so damned kind for letting me have the frame for free, i hope he gets all the karma he wished for and secondly Daj, S_zigmond and Xizang all for saying such funny but kind things which resulted in getting me this frame, i am indebted to you guys!

It has been posted to me today so when i get it i will start a build up thread. I thought i would make it a little different by encouraging people to say what i should put on and see what i can pick up for as little as possible as i dont have as much money as some people but i want to be sympathetic to this bike and bring it back to its former glory.

Please guys let me know what you think, i would really appreciate it.

Cangrats mate

Having just brought an 852 myself :D , personally if I were you I'd go down the Flexstem route and not suspension forks.

With the limited travel these bikes provide, I think the ride would be more balanced with a Flexstem and just give just enough bounce to take the sting out of the trail.

Hey

Thanks pickle, i really appreciate that. I am just about to post a readers bike public build up but i agree with the flex stem idea!
