Looks me reckons. Crank is fine, but I'm thinking that the chainring is too shiny compared to the arms. So either a black ring on there or find a nice sakae crank with a bit more shine.

The CCM ring only came in chrome as far as I know. Black paint with exposed steel at the teeth would look interesting, but it looks as though the cone for the bearing was pressed on, I'm not super keen to bust it apart. I'll see if anything else turns up, I'd like something with more teeth too

If it's pressed on you won't get it torqued down again and it'll be flimsy shite.

Black would imho fit the build the best, I love how crusty and earthy the frame itself looks, I'd definitely go with a stealthy look. I feel like silvery shine stands out too much, but it doesn't look bad.

You could get some black enamel paints and get that ring darkened up. Brushed on for ultimate rat.
