Not another Yo Eddy!!

That looks stunning Dave. Hmm Judy FSX, thats a fork I had not considered, looks spot on.

Yes its Sapphire fade. Its in pretty nice condition, its got a few little chips here and there but nothing major. No real updates at all other than I now have brakes and a headset for it.

So today I set too sorting out a temporary fork to get the Yo up and running. I have a load of Judy's and parts and as the 1995 catalogue picture for the Yo shows a Judy XC fitted I though it would look ok.

A selection of parts:

Fully stripped:

Damper cartridge stripped down:

All ready to go back together:

And together:

Got to get the threaded steer cut a bit longer tomorrow hopefully then I can fit it.

I do need some springs for it if anyone has any??

So after seeing Daves Yo I decided that regular Judys just would not cut it so I got some Judy FSX to fit to it. I made a start today dusting bits off and fitting them:

Ignore the wheels, they are a temporary measure until I pick up the ones for it from New York on Sunday:

Trying to find a 1" thread less steer for the Judys before I go cutting the threaded one down. Just need cranks, a bottom bracket and some cables now.

Arrived in New York and had a wheel and a rim waiting for me:

Just need a matching rest hub now if anyone can help. I will buy a pair.

Just need a NukeProof rear hub to match the front and a chainset then its done. Until the hub is sorted it has got mismatched wheels. Looking for a 1" Aheadset zooka as well, hopefully the new crown will arrive tomorrow as well so that will then be sorted:

Makes a nice wall hanger over my workbench:

Got the Nuke Proof hubs sorted now, collecting some full wheels from New York next month. At the minute they are laced to Sun 0 XC rims so I will see how they look and then decide if I should use the X517 Ceramics.

Still struggling with a 1" threadless crown and steer for the Judys if anyone can assist?.
