The seller is 'Mary, Mary, quite contrary'. He has only recently acquired it from the original owner, but then is selling on behalf of...blah blah blah... yet the description implies a different story. 'It's a cheap bike that will get someone to work for a long time, mate.... It's only 25 quid... I might just take it down cos I'm sick of all the moanin".Not to mention the history of his very own bike -
"Owned since the early 90s this specialized stumpjumper is one of the original and best (at the time) mountain bikes, I've had to recommission it with brand new tyres and a brand new decent chain as these were perished and rusty so not usable. it will probably need setting up properly and a good Polish but it's got years left as its built like a tank. I would prefer collection but I can box it up if you want to arrange a courier. Thanks for looking"
I like a good Polish every now and then, but that's for a different forum.
