Old School Grand Master
A raging toothache that of course started in earnest on Saturday morning. It has felt like some sort of animal has been trying to eat its way out of my face. The whole side of my head is swollen. I could get a job in a circus.
Pain killers haven't really helped much. I even tried some funky ones the wife had. Nothing!
As the infection got going I have had a headache you could bend a horse shoe around and muscle and joint pain.
Did I mention I seem to have gone deaf in one ear too? Its on the opposite side of my head so just a cheery coincidence I think.
Now I'm on antibiotics that will, if I have even the slightest hint of alcohol give me projectile puking, an explosive dose of the squits and finally make me go unconcious for an hour or two.
Last night to spare the wife my groaning and swearing I slept down stairs and in reaching for my sleeping bag I put my back out.
Now I have taken the first two tablets in the course and can feel my stomach starting to rebel and jump. Me thinks I am going to need to keep my running shoes on!
Last week I rode 60 odd miles (all in 4th gear). This week I could only just walk up the road to the dentist.
I need a hug.
