Nos set of mavic open pro with 105 hubs

Hello

I can only apologise for the shabby photo’s I can provide some better ones on request.

NOS set of 700c 32 hole Mavic open pro ceramic rims. Rims are a little different namely the decals and one has the ceramic coating on the braking surface. I bought them as a pair from a shop closing down a couple of years ago
Hubs are Shimano 105 again NOS bought at the same time. They have been built up with double butted spokes and dressed in some Michelin cross tyres and done nothing so up for grabs! Tyres not include as they have dried out and perished ;-( £150

they probably differ in years produced by a year or so.

Great reply.
The rear rim was probably anodized when it was new and using it has worn down the anodising and you can see (if you can see) the grey marks on the lighter surface.
Maybe putting up a better picture would be helpful....

I will grab them from the loft 2mrw fella. I can assure you they have not seen a brake pad. I've had circa 30 odd of these rims over the years. If I recall correctly the earlier rims had a ceramic braking surface but despite ceramic specific pads braking wasn't as good....

If you read the original post carefully only one of them is a ceramic rim with the coating on the brake track, it will be a different colour, suspect the other one is a standard open pro.

Either way, a great price for a set of retro wheels. The rims and building would currently set you back £180+
