NOS/Restored 5 speed vintage Raleigh Bomber on ebay

Hi guys, sorry that my 1st post is an ebay promotion but thought this bike might appeal to the members here...

It's a very nice vintage Raleigh Bomber, built from NOS & good used parts. Fitted with geartrain from the rare Super Bomber.

Schwinn had been doing the same thing some 40 years previously so Raleigh were a bit late?

Not really a fan of these as they were never intended as Mountain bikes as such and are often called 'early' MTBs. They were developed from an old Raleigh Roadster design independently of what was being developed elsewhere.

Bit of fun but they were horrible to ride.

To be honest I can only go off what I remember when I had one as a kid. I agree that they were more of a marauding street bike but mine was really great to ride.
