NOS Judy FSX, SIDs, Mag 21SL and more

FSX sold for $930!

If this was a authentic sale price that means there are 2 people that would pay $900+ for a NOS set of these..........

I just don't believe it was a real sale.

I thought it would've ended in the $500 range. $930 for forks is insane!!!

and I thought the $375 I paid for my NOS set about 6 months ago was high.

That is mad seems as I swapped a Pace Proclass2 for my Judy FSX! :shock:

The Spesh FSX is the one I'm watching. It's rarer. (essentially a carbon Mag 21)
I paid £170 for mine and it's already cleared that barrier...

I was one of the guys bidding more than 500 bucks. But I didn´t win.

The other forks are very high, too.
I own both, Judy FSXs and Future Shock FSXs but unfortunately no NOS one.
The Yeti-Judy would have been nice, too but I missed it (was at hospital).

I'm truly speechless. The non-Judy FSX went for $965 and the Mag 21 SL for $760!!! :shock:

He now has three NOS Judy SLs listed, two of which are already over $300 with 5 days to go.

I own both, Judy FSXs and Future Shox FSXs but unfortunately no NOS one.

what's the difference? The only difference I have seen in the 2 is the finish of the carbon. One is a matte finish and another is glossy.

Or is one of these the Mag 21 type and the other a Judy? If this is the case why/when did the Judy ones have a matte finish or a glossy finish?

All FSX forks are Rock Shox forks made for Specialized.
Technically the Future Shock FSX is a Mag 21 and the Judy FSX is a Judy SL. They differ from the originals by their machined aluminum/carbon lowers and their aluminum brace. The Judy FSX had two brace options, canti or V-brake. These Judy FSX braces are well known for cracks at the bolts so take a close look if you want to buy one.

Original Rock Shox forks used Magnesium for these parts. This is why the funky aluminum/carbon FSX forks were in fact heavier than the originals.

All the Future Shock FSX I know are glossy while Judy FSX are glossy or matte. I think that most of the 1996 Judy FSXs are glossy while the 1995 had a matte finish but would have to search into my forks to prove that.

I have about 6 sets of the Judy FSX's and can look to see if any of the matte ones have the 95 steerer/crown (I'm pretty sure some of mine do). I'm in Las Vegas until Monday so will have to check then.

I just looked at the NOS FSX I have and it's a 95 crown/steerer and came with the box.


Maybe some FSX's were matte for a certain OEM model?

NOS stuff to me is worth more than the new stuff because that was my day and to me the parts worked just as well as today.
