No UK shipping - sorry.

But there are US friends that are very willing to ship them to you.

this was a victim of the scammers discussed elsewhere. 3 of them working as a team, one genuine bid placed early, followed by 2 bidders who then quickly ramp the price up to an amount that puts any one else off bidding.

In the last few seconds of the sale the 2 bidders that built up the price retract the bid using a loophole of being able to pull a bid claiming they are unable to contact the seller. At that point the auction is won by a silly low bid.

The two involved with this have since been stopped on a number of other high value items, HED rims, Cooks stem etc.

the scam bidders are:

d***s( 44) = odessitka42( 44)
4***4( 69) = glasshouse848( 69)
t***t( 481) = tootbrush( 481)

I believe toothbrush has now a feedback of 485....

Put them on your block list if you are a ebay seller.

bytheway: piermont has reported this to ebay.

Hopefully not for long if he engages in that type of behaviour :?

only issue is how did the German guy in that other forum identify odessitka42 as one of the shill bidders? That ebay account is no longer in service. I'm hesitant to publicly reveal my findings without confirming how that first discovery was made, and if it was accurate.

All I know is that there are a lot of shady things that go on in this little niche of vintage mountain bike collecting. Not cool
