Yes it is, It was even nicer when it sold a week ago with all those NOS parts still on it. Typical strip and flip. The beauty of it is the original seller was in Miami, new seller is in Fort lauderdale so he probably didn't even pay shipping. He is going to make alot of money on this one. It sold for $299 with all NOS xt stuff.

The beauty of it is the original seller was in Miami, new seller is in Fort lauderdale so he probably didn't even pay shipping. He is going to make alot of money on this one. I almost did but the shipping was steep. Haro's don't really do it for me so I was thinking of using the parts for my Ritchey but it did not seem right to part that bike out. I should have just done the original BIN which was $250!

I was on the fence on that one too. Actually I was the leading bidder until he BIN'd it. I was really tempted by the possibility of using the parts on another ride, thought the Haro as it stood was pretty cool too.

It really isn't surprising that someone wanted to strip/flip though. That's probably what I would have ended up doing with the frame/fork.

EDIT---just checked his prices----dang. More like strip and bend over. I like how he says "no low-ballers" and claims that the cranks were "never built up" when they clearly were from the previous listing's pics.

Yeah I have bought several bikes for the parts I needed and then sold the rest, i do it all the time. But to me NOS means it was never built or used. To me the minute you mount a part it is no longer NOS. He should say Mounted but never used.

Agreed. I take NOS to mean in box or bag and not ever wrenched. Condition-wise I am sure his stuff is near the same, but it does seem more than a little shady to claim it is never built and of course jack the prices up to what truly NOS stuff might go for......
