Non cyclist!

OR

Or you could now become one of those old blokes who hang round the local shop or you meet at the pub, the ex riders who tell you it wasnt like that in their day, they used to have to ride their unicycle 97 miles over the moors just to get a pint of milk for breakfast before they rode to school. And that was with solid tyres

So it's no longer velo cake and just cake.

Sounds good to me!

Sorry to hear you won't be riding but i can't begin to imagine what back pain would be like on a long term basis.

there must be a bike that is comfortable for you out there somewhere... whether you'd want one like that is another matter (modern full suss  )

What is the underlying condition with your back?

I have a prolapsed disc in my lower back that is aggrevated by cycling. I have done everything I can to relieve the pain.

believe me, the price of not cycling compared to being in tears on the floor every few months is worth paying.

I'm still going to hang around my LBS and be a fully paid up member of Velocake. I am still going to build the Rudge, just for the hell of it!!

ps Thanks for the nice words. :D
