night lights cheap and good

the top one gets good reviews and is pretty cheap but you do need to get the charger and spare batteries and mount but even so looks very good for the money- would be immense to try one of the trail centres at night, mind you- ...... I do get scared in the dark :?

night rides might be the only way to keep my fitness this winter.

Maybe about $55 for the p7 set up. Honestly you won't get better bang for your buck.

tescos are now doing a 3watt Cree C cell torch £12 - does the job but is hard to find as they still have an excess of the 1 watt ones left.

My mate gaffers a 4watt D cell to his stem - like the sun but only £17 quid.

I'm waiting on a P7 Cree (900 Lumen) from ebay. Worked out about £50 with shipping, charger etc. Spare batteries are £10ish and on medium setting those two batteries will give 4-5 hours which is more than my legs can do. I'm going to helmet mount it and run it with the Nightrider Mi-Newt Duo set up that I have on the bars. A good spread for Thrunton night rides where firepower is everything.

Just a thought with helmet mounting these high output lamps, what sort of heat is given off and are they likely to melt through the polystyrene helmet and into my scalp?

batteries and charger extra. i have same/similar MTE flashlight. just pick up everything from Dealextreme. shipping is free with any item purchase.

just ordered the bike kit in the first link on page 1. Will inform more when it arrives (hopefuly in time for my trip to dartmoor a week on Friday...sadly unlikely)

while you are at it. don't forget to pick up mounts/holders from DX:

or go with these TwoFish Lockblocks, depending on your application (helmet or bar mount), which i picked up a pack of three from Fenix-store:
