Nigel Dean Tour Master Reynolds 753 tubing Suntour XC

cipolinni

Old School Grand Master
Picked up a rather nice Nigel Dean Tour Master today.
Reynolds 753 tubing
Cinelli bottom bracket shell and Cinelli lugs
Suntour XC-9000 groupset
Mavic module 3 wheels on Suntour XC-9000 hubs.
3ttt stem
Frame is too big for me
60cm seat and top tube

Don't know much about these if I'm honest.
Your opinions would be appreciated

Malc

Re:

Bit of a dilemma really.
Probably strip the bike and sell the Frameset to fund a smaller size.
Keep the groupset and wheels for a future touring project.
Very light to be honest

Re:

Stripped the Bike today.
In very good condition after a rigorous clean
Some surface rust but nothing serious.
To my delight found out that it has Cinelli BB Shell and lugs.

753 for a touring frame? Perhaps a bit light for heavy loads although it does have rack mounts on the dropouts.

Plenty of all round wheel clearances. Might make a 'retro gravel bike'.

If there is such a thing..................
