So you may know I went on my first ever foreign holiday to San Francisco and California.

I found myself in Marin County wandering into Black Mountain Cycles - I'd never heard of them before.

I spent the next half an hour taking photographs of probably the most amazing collection of bikes I've seen in one place. I'm not a big fan of US bikes but I could not help but be silenced by what I saw!

Anyway, head off to HERE to see the pics I took, they are all up there (including an odd blurry one, sorry) in full resolution so you can zoom in to see any details.

Please post up any that you find interesting with a quick description of why....

Enjoy!

Well that was quite a place you wandered into. I believe this is where Steve Potts sends his customers to have their bikes built up. What's the story with the vintage bike collection? I can see at least a couple of Cunninghams there, numerous Potts with beautiful type two forks. I like the drop bar Ibis, loads of fine hand built frames there and I love the fact that many of them show the signs of enthusiastic use.

Very cool selection, some real interesting retro stuff there, cheers for sharing Rob, bike racking system looks good too for those that might need that sort of thing.

I can't remember 100%, I think it was a WTB. It was my favourite!

There were 4 Cunninghams, 2 full bikes and 2 without forks.

Steve Potts bikes and frames, some just sitting on the floor!

PLEASE post any pics you like up. I have a Pro account so should be no access issues.
