very tempting, if it doesnt go for silly money. anyone seen one of these sell recently or any ideas of real world value for one?

Although 95 Explosifs are rare, it wouldn't normally raise more than around £350. However this one may genuinely be in very good condition indeed, for the reasons stated above, so £500 doesn't seem silly to me. Unspoiled condition is worth a lot, but £580 is perhaps getting over-enthusiastic.

There are two 1994 Explosif frames (Tange Ultimate) for sale on eBay at present, which should be more affordable. There are far fewer Columbus Max Explosifs around, perhaps fewer were sold because they were more expensive. Columbus Max was a very expensive tubeset.

Also Jones has just put his 97 Columbus Max frame on eBay - if this goes for as little as he was asking for it on here, I shall be very surprised.

This has just sold for £600 notes, I was the winning bidder till the price past £290 that was my top whack price. Hope the winner enjoys it and also knows about the forks...........

People have asked a LOT!! more for similar bikes on here so I'm not that suprised, but it is a lot isn't it

I would have wanted better pics if I was paying £600, you can't actually tell what condition the frame is in from the pics :? most frames photographed from that distance can be made to look very good

Its been ridden enough to have chain slap so I would have deffinately wanted more pics nice bike though
