I have also bought things from 'ditbicykles' in the past, and the manitou and rock shox parts never arrived. I had to go down all sorts of routes to get my refund.

There is no smoke without fire, so here is some kindling:

If mods are aware address should be taken off straight away, it not fair on Ian.
They have messages waiting for them

They do have lives off line, as do we all

They will deal with this as soon as possible

Giving out personal information is not acceptable, as are threats about serious consequences
Especiallly when that personal information is not related to anyone involved in the alleged 'FRAUD' as it was so eloquently SHOUTED.

FYI, serious consequences aren't always about violence which one possible conclusion that could be jump to. There are ways and means of dealing with this kind of thing legally/passively, so if anyone thought otherwise then I'm happy to correct.

Oh sorry you said they were aware of it so sounded like they knew about it, that's how I took what you said .

I know they aren't sat on here, understand that. Took what you said to say you had had contact with mod about it.

Glad that's cleared up, it's far too easy to read into text something that wasn't meant.

I have done all I can to make the moderators aware of the situation. Maybe I should have phrased it a bit better, but by the time I've written this they may have got the message and be dealing with the situation...

No problem, and the main reason I gave up trying to be sarcastic online :)

from reading this it is pretty clear that Ian was simply the address in the uk and there was no suggestion inferred or implied of Ian doing anything wrong.

I think the point is some guy has got an m900 equipped bike, which looked pretty minty aside from the scratches caused during transit, then claimed his money back by saying it never arrived.

I do remember the corroded seat tube saga from this seller also though   did someone mention karma?
