Newbie with a Raleigh and a question

@meejoir like what you've done with that.

So many choices, but one thing is that anything I do will be purely aesthetic as changing any of the parts would defeat the object of my choosing to go retroish.

just don't add Reynolds decals as I have seen elsewhere!

I wouldn't even think about it. If I go with an iconic Reynolds scheme then it will be more of a nod to the classic bikes.

Besides I'd never get it past the Reynolds experts here 8)

Go full Banana on it..

If you're going to paint it, do the whole top tube in yellow, like the pro bike, and not the mass produced one which was black at the seat tube

If you use the pro bike decals, you can just leave the Reynolds tubing one off (you can probably get away with the chain stay ones...)

There is nothing wrong with you colour scheme in the first place, personally i actually like it, but i also like the colour scheme of my Raleigh Scorpio when nobody else seems to. :D
At the end of the day you should go for what you really like and don't care too much about what everybody else might be thinking.
