@Mel: No idea where the Name "Pony" came from. I know a similar looking model called "Spirit". Quite rare as well. BTW it's a TET build and I send Tom Teesdale a couple of questions regarding the Pony. We'll see ...

Very nice, I remember that there was one of these in a few issues of MBUK, as one of guys that used to feature in the articles had one. Can't remember his name though and I no longer have my back issues...... Paul something........?

Wow, I haven't seen that pic in quite some time. I remember snapping that photo in front of my old house in Washington. It had a decent enough ride, just a bit heavy as I recall. Sold it a few years ago, now I'm resto'ing a Grove-built Racer.
 
A set of beautiful NOS TA rings went on my CQP M-2000. Yummy! Perfect crankset for the Pony ...
