New tyres for an old bike; Schwalbe Fast Fred

I do,

I run FF 2.35's for dry summer days on my Heckler. The 2.35 breaks the mold of skinny semi slick XC race tires of old with large volume. At low pressures with a soft compound it provides grip without knobs. Great for running at low pressure and float over soft sand, I can go as low as 1.7-1.8 no problem, and I'm a Clydesdale. And it comes with traditional semi slick low rolling resistance on tarmac and hardpack, it's a fine summer XC tire for me.

Downsides: they're slippery in the wet and the qualifier compound wears quite fast.

If you are really never goping off-road you might be better off with the Super Moto's which are street specific and available in 2.35 too.

Enjoy!!
