And for this a new thread, I promise to keep this more up to date than the latter one

Friday we had the presentation of the Team followed by a weekend of training.

This year is the year of young forces running the Team, our two sport directors are 23 and 24... but are both ex riders, so experienced. our goals are to finely qualify for a spot in the only UCI 2.2 stage race here in denmark: Post Danmark Rundt http://www.postdanmarkrundt.dk/ and to make good results in races abroad. Friday this week 2650 km (1646 miles) of driving will take me and the Team Leader to Alicante Spain, where this years Training Camp will take place, usually a lot of hard work for a couple mechanics, this year it´s only me...

Two of the riders we pin our hopes on is Rolf Broge, who in his short career has more than 50 top ten finishes/wins and our grand old man at 29 Jesper Odgaard that last season won the September Cup after a injury ruined Spring/Summer.

And finally a picture of the whole team and staff, unfortunately a rather plump speaker blocks out ours truly.

hey Flemming,

Odd that you are hiding!!! Looks like you are going to be busy (again!). Updates are, as always, appreciated.

Good luck,

Richard

I'll second Richards sentiments and wish you the best of luck this year.
Also as mentioned, your updates are eagerly awaited and much appreciated.

Jamie

Flemming,

Thanks for sharing!!! Is Spain warm now? I suspect it will be warmer than here!!

Richard

Slightly (understatement) warmer than here and slightly (understatement) drier than here!

Can you feel my jealousy oozing?

Richard

we (that´s me and the Team leader) arrived at the hotel around 2 am, and went straight to our rooms to get 4 hours of sleep, next morning we had breakfast and went down to the parking lot to ready the bikes for the riders and rest of staff to arrive.

A quick visit to their rooms later, the adjustment of the bikes could begin

Here I´m installing a bottom bracket for a Quark wattmeter

The riders went out on a 1 hour ride to see if all was as intended.

The parking lot is huge with a fence all around, it´s been used for the Vuelta Espania.

The hotel is very very nice, and it´s the same as I went to with the other team I worked for, last season.

Rolf, our great rider, did not get his new team bike in time for the camp, so he rented one that needed some help, before it was good to go, here I´m taking a link off the chain. He later crashed the bike, and broke the frame. a misunderstanding between him and another rider, resulted in a small crash. He´s alright that´s what counts.

that´s all for now, hope you enjoy.
