Just finished this as a get to work bike! Won't take my Specialized Hard Rock 29er as students at college not to be trusted lol

Has Botranger chainset (salvaged off a bike someone was scrapping
Peugeot Carbolite equipe frame (another heading for the tip)
Original gears
Straight bars with Shimano Deore levers (Changing back to original though)
New wheels

Actually quite a nice ride

Have also just been offered a 1970's Dawes Galaxy

Mid 80's Peugeot Equipe, almost certainly sold by Halfords if my memory serves me correctly!

N.B. QR Skewer needs swapping around on the rear!

Noticed the skewer after I took the pic!

Definately a Halfords jobby, not the most collectable of bikes but worth keeping any of the old jalaopy's on the road.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bottom bracket?
