This site is awesome, I am all misty eyed reading it!

I've been into cars and motorbikes for the past few years but as I've just bought myself a new flat and I'm too skint for hybrid turbos and big intercoolers I thought I'd return to my first love... Mountain bikes 8)

I'm thinking of building a bike up just for the pub run and for looking at... I'll use my year old Trek for the riding to work and getting muddy duties

Hopefully I can find the parts I lusted after in my youth (although I think the green Michelin tyres and red DX v brakes will be impossible to track  ) but I'll see if I can find myself a Zaskar, Beast of the East or Mongoose frame to start with. (I used to have a Y shaped frame Mongoose, the same as the type Brian Lopes road in dual slalom, anyone remember what it's called?)

Anyway, great site and I'm sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place... Off to the for sale and wanted section I go!

Welcome to the site!

You'll find that pretty much anything is available if your pockets are deep enough so happy searching  You should have no probs with red DX bits, plenty about. :D

Hi 8)

I was thinking the 10 years he's talking about is off his life expectancy when the missus starts seeing numerous packages arriving each day

Welcome to the madhouse.

As everyone else has said your bike collection will grow in inverse proportion to your wallet's contents. :D
