UK customs & Excise have decided to reduce their limits on any 'commercial' imports from outside the EU.
Previously this was a measly £18 and with the weakend pound it equated to even less in reality.
As from 1st November this is now going down to £15.
Also don't forget that HMRC charge VAT on the item value AND the postage cost plus £8 Royal Mail 'handling' charge.
EG. Buy a part for £18 (previously VAT & charges free) plus say £8 postage.
VAT charges £5.20 (£26x20%)
Plus £8 RM charge
Total cost £39.20!
