New BMW 5 series...

Nice enough motors - the Mrs has one - but the main dealer servicing and backup once you've bought the car is absolute pits. Really. Webpages and webpages of disgruntled owners confirming this.

If you're getting a BMW - first locate a good independant servicing agent.......which sort of points at not buying a new one

Yes it looks ok!

but it's not a 2002 tii or anything is it.

Starting to lose their identity with this I'm afraid
The 5GT is the oddest thing on the road now, and at £50k!!

Oh, & I finish my position in the company, been a brief affair, but I truly hated the experience! My fault, not theirs

I don't understand why Bangle gets so much bullshit for his designs.

I agree with you. But only if Bangle only designs the front half of the car and leaves the back end to the local blind school to finish off. Its good that he does his bit to help those less fortunate in life. The current 3 and 5 series only look good as estates and despite my love of a nice estate car that must be wrong.

Is it only me that thinks the new one looks like the old one after it went down a narrow street and got squashed? :o :?

I think Bangle's a brave designer but some of his cars (bent chassis 1 series anyone?) are woeful.

With Bangle I thought it needed some time, but the cars are discontinued and they it apparently still have to grow on me.
