Was it really ten years ago?

I was dreaming about that engine-blue Sid, seen only in the magazines, then on a few bikes at the '97 Worlds. That sexy brushed alloy crown, that crazy-light weight, those amazing neo-retro looks. Ahhhh!

Finally bit the bullet early '98 and got a discounted one in Switzerland, same day as my best mate. Still over £400 of the days though!!!
