Never really liked the Ford Focus BUT ?

Each to their own, but why would anyone spend that sort of money, and time, to get a £15K focus when you could buy a nice standard M5 for that money?? :?

Too easy, and you see a million BMW's every day, a RWD 5.0 V8 Focus (or Escort) you wont

Me neither, i dont even notice M5's they tend to blend in with all the other dull modern stuff on the roads

two companies offered a v8 conversion in the states,didnt need to modify anything/much underneath iirc,prop went were the exhaust did etc.looks a nice conversion and tbh,well worth the money for something different,reliable........ask any other cossie owner and fast.dont forget its easeir to get bigger bhp gains from a v8 than 16v turbos etc,bhp/quid blah blah.

Nope, because its still a focus. You could put nitros in a metro, but its still a metro!
I just dont understand why people spend £20k making a shit car go fast when they could just buy a fast car??
Its like people who who put 2 engines in a Golf to make a 4 wheel drive :? Just buy a 4motion ffs and have a nice holiday with the change

cos you could buy an m3 m5 bugatti gt etc,but you would always want to modify,even sports cars are built to a budget so theres always room for improvemnt,and its fun

as you can tell,i love (properly) modified cars.

the whole point of modifing a car is to be diffrent it would be a boring place if we were all the same (driving around in our m5's and 4-motion golfs )

It's like Eck said, people build cars like this because they can, personaly i'd hate to splash out 15-20K on a car and see one the exact same on the next street corner or another five the same in Tesco's car park.

This Focus looks totally run of the mill.

Doesn't matter what is under the hood.

At least those that know would realise your M5 was a true supercar.

unfortunately most m5s etc round here are driven by the wifes on the school run,loads in tescos,scoobies are the same, v8 coming from a focus would rule :twisted:
