I walked away from this car because of lots of oil around the breather pipe links and oil around head, Would be interested if this has been sorted? :?

Nah, nothing wrong with that.. Persons new to eBay so bids are going to be lower.. The price that car sold for was a bargain. If it's a private who sold to the dealer he'll of only made £500 tops.

I actually went and viewed the car and there was something that rang alarm bells

-Last owner was super short ownership 5 months
-Service history was well iffy stamped to 100k nothing after
-Under the bonnet looked "well worked on" (loose fittings pipes etc)
-Oil was lots around the engine bay including breather/head)
-Smoked on heavy aceleration

Too risky private even at the money it went for I thought? :?

what colour was the smoke? If it was black it would just be soot.

reasonable price for a 7 year old car tbh, not anything exciting that holds money that well. even at 2395 irrc, not a bad or silly price at all.

but its a diesal ford with shit fuel pump issues and pats.

If youre not happy youre not happy
Walk away lest it bother you all the time you have it.You wouldnt be satisfied and would have a niggle in the back of your head about it.
