Did you do the brazing/silver soldering yourself?The forks are Raleigh Twenty with the stem sleeved up to 1 1/8th with the hubs from the same which was a drum braked Sigma model, I bought a damaged rear triangle to experiment on before extending the original. It still folds as before but is 3" longer and taller when folded.

I find it much more usable like this and a couple of years ago crossed southern India from Chennai to Cochin on it.

I always thought that 20" Brompton was a great Idea. Is the ride quality significantly better? The extra size is not a downside to me as Bromptons fold small anyway.
Is yours a six speed? Are there any other modifications? Sorry for the barrage of questions![]()
If you have a journal of your trip I think I can safely say everyone would like to see and hear about it.It was originally a six speed but is now three, that part of southern India is pretty flat until you come to the Western Ghats when I just got off and pushed.![]()
