Does anyone recognise this frame?
I've searched but can't seem to find any info on the Internet, the serial number doesn't seem to match anything and the Marin website hasn't answered a request for info.

Looks like a Rocky Ridge colour scheme, guessing from probably 1994/5. The catalogues are on here in the archive section.

Thanks for that....does look very much like a Rocky Ridge, '94 from what I've found this morning. I knew i should have asked the experts first!
Not sure why the serial number doesn't seem to match up....more hunting i guess.

For the search engine (they can't read photos ... yet) number appears to be FE2AA0002
I still don't have many frame numbers from this range of Marins, but this is a handy addition.

Best guess is that the number dates the frame to 1992, so could be a 1993 model year.
It isn't a 1994 Indian Fire Trail, as those frame numbers all start 'MJ4'

Marin aluminium numbers are not the same series as steel. So they won't match the threads on numbers on here.

Wrong era head tube badge though?

This is the badge on a bike billed as a '92 Rocky Ridge on Ebay. Mine may be faded? but still has traces of green on the outer section. Others I've seen, billed as the same model and '92-95 seem to be decals rather than metallic.
Confusing!
