Only joshing...well partly.
Ive nicked a few bit from it. Not all for me.
Bottle cages for the local community leisure centre as they own a few spin bikes, but people are permanently busting the cages off!
Cables and blocks to the local bike repair charity...always needed......thank you.
And the other bits for me. They will help add finishing touches to a couple of projects nicely....sadly the silver deore hub is toast, but the spindle will (like all donors) help an XT hub to live on after its death.
Oh, and I've tipped about 1/2 a tonne in!

On a more serious note, and possibly to help keep this rolling, there are a fair few bits in there, that I doubt anyone (unless they are building a pub bike) are going to probably want.
Im wondering if some of this heavier, less interesting kit might be best taken to a local charity. Especially as a few bits have parts missing.

Also could we please please try to audit the stuff that goes in?
Its incredibly generous of all of you to add to the box as it travels round, but there are a few things we probably can do without.....especially considering this is a retrobike pass the parcel.
Stuff the box hates having put in it..
Broken or non functional electrical stuff.
Things that are broken
Things with parts missing
Non retro, low end kit in poor condition.
Too many of the same thing (it gets the burps).
Hamsters/ gerbils
Anvils....you know who im talking about!
Stuff the box loves to eat..
Retro gooodies, smaller and more interesting the better.
Common Retro spare parts
Retro kit in good, usable condition.
Working small electrical stuff...no hoovers/steam irons.
Stuff that makes us laugh...belive me there's a couple of doosies in there!

A smattering of post 97 if its brilliant.
Hopefully it will keep the weight and postage down and help make it a joyful experience for all.
