Ok what's this then? I want to say it's a psyclone but I'm wondering if it's a GT at all. It's not clear if it's fillet brazed but the welds are very tidy. I've seen some close ups of the seat cluster by email and the top tube is mitered? to the seat tube. It doesn't pierce it nor does the seat tube pierce the top tube. There is no "GT" embossed or stamped on the seat end of the top tube.

They did some road bikes where the top tube didn't go past seat tube but I may be wrong but I don't think it's a GT.

The only ones I've seen that didn't pierce the top tube were not triple triangle eg. Vengeance. I agree it may not be a GT at all. The rear dropouts and general build look decent quality though, certainly better than any Apollo triple triangle which rules that out.

am not certain but didnt chrome gt's have the groove tube section in the top tube for the cables?

this maybe an earlier model before they did this though.

Some of the Psyclones were pretty flat at the back but did have a GT logo on end of top tube.

It might just be the photo but I'd want it confirmed before buying.
I had thought that all the Psyclones had seperate mech hanger but this one proves otherwise.

I might have to eat my words...
