Mystery composite wheelset identification, anyone?

Hi

I got these from the local craigslist sale. The owner said they had been in some cycle store basement from the 90's. That's all information, very difficult to find anything similar by googling. Would anyone have some identification clues. Had 8 speed compatible HG freewheel, cartridge bearings (replaced them). The material is combination of carbon and yellowish fibre (aramid). If needed, I can take mode detailed photos.

Looks like the boys at PlanetX simply got some factory in the FE to knock them up some Spinergy copies.

Their non-aero spoke profile and rim actually reminds me of some Polish wheels, although I haven't seen any with alloy rims. How much do they weigh and what is the surface like? Are they carbon or fibreglass(/kevlar)? Post some close-ups of the hub too that always is a good insicator.

Nice set though - hit me up if you ever consider selling. Always looking to add something to the museum we don't have yet.

Hi
Already sold them about a year ago to France. If you really want them, I can give you the contact of the buyer.

They are made of carbon fibre and kevlar/aramide fibre mixture, with foam fill. Unfortunately very flexy sideways, as the spoke flanges are all in the center of the hub... Some photos to anyone interested.

Rudimentary shaping at best lol I can easily imagine the flex. Hubs don't offer up any great clues though they do look European. Thanks for the offer of those contact details - feel free to PM me.
