MAVIC made special headset spanners for this model. You see them very occasionally on eBay, or if you have a long-established local bike shop they might be able to do the job for you. An ad in the wanted section here might turn up a pair for loan, or there are various dirty methods that might work - a cushioned pair of water-pump pliers, for example, or the boa wrench AR-CoolC suggested.also, what tool would I use to correctly dismantle?
