the seiko automatic divers watch is pretty ..i used to have 2 .1 in orange face ...tother in black...dammed if i sold them ...grrrrrrr.now have a seiko kinetic sports 200 which i like....

I like Kinetics, 'cos I just sort of dig the idea of pointless technology like that (I have a few, and one of those energy units for charging them).

But I have to say, the normal automatics, and the solar charging watches make sense, and although I love and choose them, Kinetics don't really make any logical sense - a solution looking for a problem, the charging mechanism wears and needs servicing, and the early Kinetics used capacitors that tend to fail over time.

Newer Kinetics use a rechargable battery instead of the capacitor (I've changed the capacitor for the new cell in 3 of my Kinetics, so far).

Accepting all that logic, though, I'm still actually drawn to Kinetics - I've only got one Seiko 5.
