My Raleigh tip find.

Very nice! And nowt wrong with Raleighs - yes lotsa cheap stuff, but also some excellent vfm at upper end, both when new and now.

Well this has moved on a bit now so here is the bike just about finished. I need to find replacement parts for the u-brake and I have a set of Onza bar end that may go on it. Its now looking like a usable bike again.

A massive thanks to marc two tone for sorting me out with the wheels. 8)

cheers all.

I went out for my first shake down ride today so not far about 7-8miles mixed terrain and I can not believe how nice this bike is to ride. Foam grips and big seat for the future, loved every minute of it. This is definitely a keeper, so a place on the garage wall is being prepared for it.

Cheers
