My new project : Single Speed with tubular Spinergy Rev-X

Hello, I had a little project in a corner of my head, to make a fixie, based on a old unknown (but very light) road frame...

And today, I made an inexpecting discovery : a couple of Spinergy RevX 700c (for tubular tires), painted in white (ex race team), for 100€ ! :P

So my project could now become serious !

But I have no idea how to turn my 8 speed cassette into fixed gear ?

Anybody here can explain me how to do ?:?:

For information, at the end the frame would be black, with white components.

But overall, I have no money to invest in this project (maybe 50€ max !).

Thank you in advance...

You'll have trouble running a fixed gear on that frame due to the vertical drop outs unless you find a 'magic gear' or fit an eccentric BB

keep that frame for a geared project, and find one with track ends or horizontal dropouts for your fixie.

I suppose a framebuilder could always remove the dropouts with new track ones.....

What I love in fixies is the simplicity.
But I am not sure Spinergy accept the torque..

So, if I only make a single speed, there are no more problem with my vertical drop ?

In this case, I will only keep the front brake.
Is it possible to use it with a rotating handle (grip shift) insted of brake lever ?

Thanks, but is this problem exist also for single speed, or just for fixies ?

MDR, I believe (mort de rire), contra MDFG (mort de frein gripshift), which refers to the other queston.
