Report it asap with as much detail and pics as possible.is there a deadline for reporting stuff like this, certain number of hours after it happened? If he can't move them find a phone number or have someone go to the local station on his behalf if possible.

Definitely report it. There is a special insurance industry scheme for hit & run victims. It's a pity he didn't call the cops on the spot.

This kind of offence is serious...how soon until the perp does it again?

I got him out on his first ride yesterday morning . 20 miles on the mountain bikes off road. For a fat g!t he did all right

good for you both - after an incident it can be quite a mental challenge to get back on the bike again.

The sort that was possibly driving illegally. Could be anything Andrew.

Stolen, no insurance,tax,mot,drunk,on a mobile. Someone locally was banged up after killing two people. He was 16 times over the drug drive limit. Yes, 16!

So pleased your friend survived, and even more so that he has the confidence to ride again, AND stick it to you!
