About to say goodbye to this 531 frame by taking to the scrap pile 
. It failed at the dropout and had other issues. I didn't buy it new, it was second hand in 2006 for the costly sum of £5 off the bay. Cheap because it had a small dent in the top tube and was a bit rough in places. For the repair costs of brazing on a new dropout, filling the dent and a new paint job it just isn't worth saving it. It carried a mix of old Ultegra 600 from the early 90s, late 90s Ultegra and Sora 8sp STI levers. Anyway I liked how it looked so thought I'd post. Subsequently, my early 90s Allegro (Swiss) will be based around this graphite grey and red colour scheme when restored.
