Thought some of you might like how the 753r Butler frame I bought a good while ago has turned out. She is fitted Campagnolo throughout, bar the headset. Full Spec to follow :-)

AS she is now. I chose this series of colours because it matched the original GB headtube decal (since been removed). It awaits new GB decals (when Lloyds opens for business again), though I cannot find anywhere the "laurel GB headtube" Any help would be appreciated.

A Campagnolo 1977 alloy 3 arm crankset fitted with TA 53-42 chainrings (very awkward to achieve) on a 1970's Nuovo/Record BB.

That crankset close-up ( The chainrings rely on the bolt sleeves passing through both rings for max strength, hence the chainring bolts being fitted in reverse/back to front.)

Test ridden this up a 1mile 20 degree+ hill (Parbold , Lancshire) for crank / chainring integrity. Absolutely smooth and faultless, no slipping / creaking. Beautiful machine to ride, ultra responsive, super smooth, perfect gear changes, almost indexed.

1976 Nuovo Record in very good condition, minimal play in the mech, good teeth on the jockeys, very smooth runner for its age. Genuine Campagnolo stainless steel cable outer, with genuine ferules, finishes it off nicely.
