My 1995 GIANT RINCON

Canadian

Dirt Disciple
This is the bike that I fell into. It is not restored, just hasn't been used much.

Not sure why it has Rocky Mountain grips. If they will work, I will probably put the grips on my Fusion. I also have an STX Special Edition headset that I ordered in for my friends Scott (came with the STX SE stuff, just not all of it. Needs headset and hubs and bash guard - he bought it new) but it is to small for his, not mine. NOW we know that there was 3 sizes. I will switch out the shifters (can't stand grip shift or old single throws) and saddle. Probably go with Ritchey saddle and grips.

Repaint the seatpost since I doubt I will find a 26.0 (can you say silver Thomson Elite) that I will want to pay for. Might do the quill upgrade so I can use 31.8 bars and stem. I do like them. Thomson again for stem, Ritchey for bars. Yes, I'm not a purist by any stretch. I like what I like. Plastic pedals will go. I'm waiting for some black Nukeproof pedals for my Jack so when that happens the Rincon will get the Shimano PD MX30 pedals.

I will keep this bike so who knows where it will go. I now have 2 keepers, my other is a 2014 Devinci Jack S. The Guzzler will disappear when I get/afford a 2012/13 GT Fury carbon. The Fusion will be/is for sale. There are other RM bikes I would rather have. Like a red and white whatever, done in Canada colours with maple leafs and some red and white Raceface stuff - yum yum.
