My 1994 Yo Eddy - Now with Igleheart Forkage

Old School Hero
Finally got around to posting some pics of this after quite a few purchases and lurking on retrobike. I started my retrobike obsession by buying a Orange Clockwork frame from ebay, then started to collect some XT M739 bits for it, but before the build I fell for a Yo Eddy on Ebay and foolishly bought it while slightly ill - I am blaming it on a fever I had at the time.

Was a complete bike and it was over in the US, so after paying as much as the bike cost me in shipping and import duties it finally arrived and is in great condition. It has some really cool stuff on it like a Mavic Headset and a Grove Innovations hothead bar/stem combo. I am collecting some goodies to add to the build, but here are some initial photos. I won't be going for a completely period specific build as I have some 8 speed bits, but it will all be retro and quite real world as when I was younger I'd upgrade my frame with new kit as it came out and I could afford it.

Would be interested to hear thoughts/comments, especially on the fork as I am guessing this is a later addition. Have already emailed Chris Igleheart about a new BOI though, this thing could get expensive!!

Great looking bike , the one piece bar /stem really brings a different dimension to the Yo.

What are the folks on it ? they look pretty good anyway.
What other plans do you have for it ?

Igleheart

Took delivery of new fork form Chris Igleheart this week and after much fettling with stems/wedges/etc finally managed to get it all together. Paint on the frk is slightly lighter but a pretty good match. Managed to chip paint on new fork in the process though. Bugger. Anyway here are a few pics. Any comments (reasonably) welcome!
