Mudguards for wide tyres on a clunker?

I'm just starting on a clunker build using an old Decathalon ATB frame from the late 80s/early90s, and plan to use it as a sturdy town hack during the winter.

I've got some beefy 2.5" Bonty Big Earls going on, but would also like some full length mudguards as I'll be using it to commute on and get around the city during work hours.

The widest cruiser guards I've seen are for 2.1" tyres. Does anyone know of anything for wider tyres?

Ooft $125 (edit: 85mm wide $200)! The bike's value is only £21.50 at the moment.
