I had about a 7 mile yomp/ ride along the beach to catch my lift home (a grumpy missus) - it was around 28c with no wind and the sun reflecting off the sea, I emptied my pockets of electronica/ wallet and dove headfirst into the sea just to cool down.

Drank 4 litres of fluids that day!
 
That last pic is a bit disturbing; are those floaters what I think they are - coming in from the sewage outlet at the end of the groyne thingy? :shock:

No. Seaweed and dead jellyfish. These are sea defences that break up the waves. The sea was actually almost glass clear.
