Try emigrating with any sort of significant collection.

No, shifting within the same county is stressing me out enough thank you.

Not sure I’d survive an international move...
It was only over the north sea, but 17 bikes, 3 frames, ~5 sets of forks, ~6 "spare" sets of wheels, 3 large moving boxes full of parts, 3 more of tyres.

7 snowboards, 2 sets of skis, ~1000 books, same again of CDs.

2 cats.

Then most of the contents of a 2 bed semi.

One return and two one way ferry trips, 5 or 6 flights, two hire vans (one internationally) and about 5000km of driving in three ~1700km chunks.

I'm not doing it again.

That’s quite a marathon....
And yes, what got me on board was the out buildings.... clean modern build huge workshop, good sized garage for mucky works.... ex-stable now has floor to ceiling double bike hangers comfortable housing 20 complete bikes, oh and the whole lot has a loft (for secreting smuggled goods)

This is what happens after frequenting this site, you end up needing more bike storage space

Not anymore, current place has storage for at least 20 full assembled and "easy to access" bikes. Then what you'd call warehousing for near enough 100.

  Never a truer word :D

Good luck with the move, if I ever had to I don't know where I would start with the packing!

Brace yourselves for a bit of gratuitous showing off.... I’m gonna call it Peachy towers....
