One MountainCycle CXS bike for sale.
Rides like a dream, climbs brilliantly, works well with the longish travel forks that are on it, and also with shorter travel XC forks. All bearings and bushings are in great condition. Reluctantly selling it because I haven't used it much in the last few years, and it really deserves to be used.
Measurements:
Centre of BB to top of seat tube 19”
centre of head tube to centre of seat tube 22 3/4"
All original stickers are still in place
This was classed as a "Medium" frame
Full spec:
Rear shock is stratos helix pro coil over air shock - same age as frame, still going strong.
Wheels are mavic D521 36 hole rims on hope hubs from 2002 with Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1 tyres
Brakes are Hope sport disks from 2002, still with original pads
Marzocchi bomber Z2 2002 forks working perfectly
LX 9speed gear shifters, one black from late 90s, other was replaced with a later grey one
LX chainset from late 90s with raceface outer and middle chainrings
XT front and rear mech circa 1997-8
New FSA Orbit MX headset
Fizik saddle 2004
Azonics stem 110mm and azonics bars 26”, should both be mid 90s
Kalloy seatpost
Shimano DX pedals
Would prefer to sell the complete bike, but will split for a very good offer on the frame.
£700 for complete bike, I would prefer if the buyer could collect (from Bristol)
