Does anyone remember a magazine called Mountain Bike International?
Or MBi for short.
I remember it from around 10 years ago, but can't find it these days, not even anything on google.

Anyone know what happened to it?

That would be Mountain Biker International. Publisher got bought by IPC, who killed it off, although it kind of lives on in that MBR is published from the same offices in Croydon.

Thats the one!
It was always my second choice after MBUK.
Nowadays MBUK seems to have moved on, and isn't for me anymore.
I bought a recent copy of MBR and it seems quite good.

Yeah, I like MBR. Subscribed for a wad of cleaning stuff they did a while back and actually quite enjoy the magazine.

Their £1k FS vs HT comparison was a cop-out though, they did not make a decision!

I'm in the middle of reading about the £1k HT vs FS article!
I e-mailed Cannondale earlier enquiring about the weight of the Prophet 3 in the article. No reply yet :( My girlfriend wants a new bike and it's a possible candidate. But I'm not willing to travel a long distance if it's a rediculous weight.

Used to love MBi and MTB Pro, still have my MTB Pro hat knocking around somewhere (You could tell that Chipps/STW lot were involved in that magazine as my Girlfriend ordered that cap to arrive in time for my birthday in August and it arrived March the following year!)

I was in MBi a few times. the editor worked in croydon, but was from around here. I did a few photo shoots & product tests. happy memories.

Mountain Biker International was a top mag!! Up there with MBUK at the time....

MBUK has gone a bit "Street" for me.... Seems that MBR has replaced it as a quality mag with a bit of everything for the true mountain biker who actually wants to get out in the hills (and not just pulling tabletops over park benches...no offence MBUK  ).

Mountain Bike Action was always good to keep up to date with the latest kit coming out of North America. Although it did run up my parents phone bill with me incessantly calling American bike shops to order stuff!!

I used to like MBI back then, always second to MBUK though. It's still MBUK all the way for me, also Dirt, and very occasionaly Singletrack if there's something of particular interest in it. I have to say that MBR bores the hell outta me, I just find it sooooo dull....
