motorbike crash

Golden rule of motorbikes, if you cannot accept the possibility of falling off then dont ride them.

In 21 years I've owned a dozen motorbikes and crashed three quarters of them, some several times

Not crashed in several years though which suggests maybe I've finally got the hang of it

Crash my mountainbike all the time though so in that discipline I'm still learning although only been doing that for 16years

woke up this morning with a extra achy back, bruised leks and a dodgy ankle....although i hurt im not so annoyed now after reading the last post...

just didnt quite make the turn...hit the gravel and the bike dropped with me under it ...oh well..

When I read that it sounded like you were on a race track and got caught by the gravel trap!

Back in 89 racing a volvo down a quiet back road near Dundee on my moped. Yes moped, you could go into all bends flat out thus didn't brake which gave me the edge over the volvo. Was doing well until I hit gravel on outside of a bend banked right over GP style
Ended up in a ditch, no damage to me or bike other than pride. Volvo passed by unconcerned, dont think they were even aware I was there

On a plus, at least it's going to be cheaper to fill you tank now.
:D

Sorry to hear about the spill.....that bike of yours hasn't exactly got nippy handling characteristics has it.

i think my pride has a bigger dent in it....

too old to bike ...no way matey...never ...uh uh ,nope,no chance
