Most Pleasing Parts to Fit?!?

I get pleasure from every bit I put on, just the knowledge that it is one more step to the completed machine. But if I were to name one best bit it is when the gears function properly first time

Seconded on the Ringlé cages - the first time it happend I thought I was going crazy!

Your friend when fitting Ringle cages is a toe clip strap. 1-put bottle in cage 2-put strap round the whole lot. 3- remove bottle and fit cage to bike!

Practice makes perfect. I made some right bodges when I started
It all comes together in the end

Give it a go with some old parts that you don't really care about. Start by re-rimming an old wheel with a rim you know is true. You'll know when you've got it right!
Just get a decent spoke key or you'll end up in the nut house. :twisted:

I quite like wheel building. My brother just calls it the male equivilent of knitting. I rather enjoy changing cables too
