Mondraker foxy carbon R bolt removal has hit a snag, help needed

The thing is, I'm not sure it should be how it is on the bike currently. It should just be a bolt that screws into the chip with spacers.

Part wise, ideally I'd only need the bolt tbh as long as I can get the ones fitted out, as once out, should be able to screw bolt into the chip rather than whatever has gone in to create what's there now. The next inside the bolt is impossible to use, it requires such a tiny Allen key you can't put any force through it.

But that is exactly what you've got; a flanged aluminium bolt with a hex on either end to give options for (dis)assembly, and the chip. Is the hex on the flanged side of the bolt also too rounded to use, or can you try that? It looks exactly like every other Mondraker I've seen from that generation.

That's strange as it doesn't look the same as the exploded diagram. If I can get the bolts out maybe other options will become evident as I don't need the full kit and it is expensive.

Thankfully mine aren't sheared but useful info. Hopefully the kits I've got to aid removal will do the job.

Indeed noted they weren’t sheared but I’ve done same with rounded Allen heads - initially I did not whack the bolt extractors and had poor results - but using good ones, drilling a perfectly central hole and selecting the right size, then whacking it to get it to bite seems the right thing to do.

I should have said also that also I have soaked them in PlusGas, then shocked them, then used a flat head screw driver head hammered into the head, then extracted with an impact driver. Brutal but works.
