Night Maiden Voyage Cross Baiku.

Head home early. Phone Joe on route. Organised. Cross bikes, lights, 3/4 tights. 4.30pm, ready. Darkish. 5.30pm, cable hanger falls off on the lawn. 5mm black allen bolt disappears into the jungle never to be seen again, even with the help of the car's headlights. Joint blast becomes a solo mission as Joe decides to make bread with his new titanium pots and pans! New bike tonight. It's quick. And controllable. Out along the country lanes and into the woods. Feel like R2-D2 wandering around Jawa territory alone. Make similar noises. Up onto the downs. Cor, this 10spd stuff makes for effortless shifts. hang on, it's not bloody shifting - completely effortless! Little Isengard looks ominous as the clouds come back for a second go at watering nature's garden. Chalk's ok though. Spin back. Eat Mum's house out of biscuits and Fruesli's. Fast home. Back ache. Haven't felt that since I had a Pace that was too small. Oh dear. Better get a new longer stem. Amazing bike. Stunning sky. Encapsulating atmosphere. Best ride of my life.

Why oh why try and do any type of work on your bikes in the outside and at night
Glad to hear the new bike is good :D
